JOB PURPOSE
- Manage the project of around 25 M$ to complete on time, within budget and within scope.
- Oversee all the technical aspects of the project according to VE Infrastructure Projects Governance and Project
- Identify the technical resources needed for the project and ensure resource availability, allocation and performance.
- Assign and monitor the work of technical personnel.
- Maintain technical alignment with key stakeholders.
- Demonstrates full commitment to all health and safety matters and provides safety leadership to the project team.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Lead a multi-functioned team.
- Lead the planning, budgeting, acquisition of the Project and ensure technical feasibility.
- Represent the company as the point of contact with all downstream stakeholders, subcontractors and partners.
- Develop and manage during the full duration of the project a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress of the project.
- Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate change management
process. - Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
- Meet with stakeholders to clarify specific requirements of the project.
- Manage relationships between stakeholders.
- Measure project performance using appropriate project management tools.
- Perform risk management analysis to reduce project risks.
- Create and maintain a comprehensive project documentation.
COMPETENCIES
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in a technical environment on projects valued at $ 5M or greater.
- Combination of education and experience in Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, Business or relatedfield.
- Must possess strong communication management skills including proficient oral and written communication and presentation skills, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with wide variety of people with diverse background of all levels and disciplines.
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
- A solid understanding of business cases and risk management processes
- Strong leadership skills
- Proven self-management and team-management skills
- Ability to monitor and control project budgets
- Capability to make decisions under pressure
Proven working experience in project management.

Economic and commercial Knowledge
- Control of the project Cash Flow
- Invoicing
- Knowledge and experience in contracts/subcontracts, risk analysis and Negotiations
- A Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.
